Grading

CONDITION / GRADING SPECIFICATION : Remember that all items unless specified as new are second hand material (used) and that's why a grading is needed to describe each of them FOR VINYLS : NEW = Factory Sealed / Unopen M (Mint) = media is like New condition (ain't sealed) M- (Near Mint) = almost Mint but ain't (might have some tiny surface marks) VG+ (Very Good Plus) = media wears some surface marks but not severe VG (Very Good)= media wears many surface marks & you might hear some surface noise G (Good)= pretty beat up - usually sold as is because it is an hard-to-find item F (Fair)= extremely used/beat up. I always avoid to sell any F vinyl... * IN ANY CASE * gradings below Mint or Near Mint have a detailed description added to know why I had graded the item VG+ / VG or G. FOR CDs NEW = Factory Sealed / Unopen M (Mint) = CD is like New or in excellent condition (ain't sealed) M- (Near Mint) = CD is almost Mint but might have one or two tiny marks VG+ (Very Good Plus) = CD wears some marks VG (Very Good)= CD wears many surface marks G (Good)= CD wears many many marks, very scratched visually. Usually sold as is because it is an hard-to-find item or will be at a cheaper price F (Fair)= extremely used/very beat up but CD will play fine. NOTE that I grade CDs (in the same way of LPs) in order to described how ' used ' it is. Other sellers tend to describe CDs as in 'good condition' but is quite vague to my opinion; you might end up having yes a near mint one of a VG one too...So I like to be more PRECISE about what the buyer is to expect upon arrival. NOTE that most CDs play fine even the G and F graded ones unlike Vinyls and you do have a guarantee that if the CD is defective at your end, I will give refund or credit of the value upon return of the CD. COVER / INSERT For Both VINYLS & CDs M (Mint) = cover is intact without bents or damage M- (Near Mint) = cover might have small bents As for the other grading VG+ / VG / G it includes either bentings, used or teared/split around the edges (small or longer ones), ring wear, price tag damage, ink spots or whatsoever dirt, etc. Any flaw(s) will be specified in the descripton of the auctionned/buy it now item. Many many factors are to be considered and best efforts are made to grade a 'condition-global-conclusion' on both the media itself (LP or CD) and the Cover of each item for sale. For further details or questions on a desired item, please do not hesitate to email-me before purchasing at : bzzz_zone@yahoo.com The tendency is to grade one degree less then the actual condition in order to satisfy and level up with the buyer; so often the media will probably be in better shape then expected or as expected but not less. Grading Conclusion: Grading from Best to Worse used in description: New / Mint / Near Mint / VG+ / VG / G / F. I do not use Excellent, VG++, VG-, etc. I prefer to be more strict. That is Bee's Philosophy on Grading =) NOTE that if you are the kind of person who are 'obssessed' (in the like of compulsive-disorder people versus germs) and expect a 10 years old release to be as shiny and new like it was released yesterday for example, PLEASE do not buy from me, these kind of people should only buy new factory sealed items or wait for re-issue of the item because they are unrealistic and manic to some point and I do not sell new releases but many sellers out-there do and you are welcome to shop elsewhere because it seems second hand items will never be to their satisfaction/expectation. It is a sad fact among a few types of collectors. I want my buyers happy! Thanx
